Ford Partners with Rapha Nocturne London
Global automotive brand Ford confirmed as the Official Car Partner to the Rapha Nocturne London on 10th June.
Ford UK has been confirmed as the Official Car Partner to the award-winning Rapha Nocturne London cycling event, taking place in the City of London on Saturday 10th of June.
Already a prominent partner of Team Sky and founders of the women’s cycling team, Team Ford EcoBoost, Ford will extend their involvement in cycling. The partnership with the Rapha Nocturne will give Ford the opportunity to showcase their latest products, whilst adding some glamour to the expo area where spectators will be given the chance to get close to the stunning new right-hand drive Mustangs.
Ford will also have a vested interest in the racing. As the light fades and the street lights turn on, Team Sky and Team Ford EcoBoost will be fighting to win both the Elite Men and Elite Women’s races.
James Pope, CEO of Nocturne organisers, FACE Partnership said: “We are very excited to partner with Ford for the 2017 Rapha Nocturne London. The iconic Ford Mustangs will make an excellent showpiece under the shadow of St Paul’s Cathedral providing an added attraction to the main fan village.”
Richard Beard, Ford Marketing Communications Manager said: “We are really pleased to join the hugely successful Nocturne event, and play an on and off circuit role at what is the biggest cycling gathering in London this year”
The Rapha London Nocturne will take place on Saturday 10th June returning to the spectacular circuit in the heart of the City of London. Starting and finishing on Cheapside with St Paul’s Cathedral providing an iconic backdrop, the Rapha Nocturne will transform the Square Mile from business hub into a high-octane race circuit for a spectacular day and evening of bike racing and entertainment.
A packed race programme will include crowd favourites such as the Folding Bike Race and Penny Farthing Race, building up to the main elite races. Past winners have included Olympic Champions Ed Clancy and Geraint Thomas and the elite race will once again be a hotly fought contest between the UK’s top professional teams and guest international riders.
The Rapha Nocturne London is free to attend with hospitality tickets also available to buy here.
